The staff at Corbin is great. They were really friendly and offered great suggestions. Not only did they do that, but they even gave us a little extra portions of fries and mac (which were so good.. couldn’t keep snacking) Lastly, the meat.. San Diego has a lot of BBQ options in my opinion and this is in my top few. don’t go to phil’s
This place was my first time trying Santa Maria style BBQ - and I’ve been back several times since. Excellent BBQ - slow cooked the right way, choice of sauces - all are excellent, great sides, full bar/great beer selection, and the perfect atmosphere to enjoy all of it in. Owner and staff are all friendly and accommodating. Big beards welcomed/encouraged. If you love BBQ like I do, you won’t regret coming in here. The Pulled pork is my favorite!
After following this place on Instagram since they first opened we finally visited today, just my hubby and I for his birthday! We ordered the sampler with a side of mac n cheese and onion rings. Everything was delicious! They have 3 different tasty bbq sauces but realistically I didn't feel like the meat needed it. It was that good. Let's talk about the chicken wings. Neither of us expected them to be as good as they were but dang they were bomb! They had the perfect amount of crispiness and very flavorful. They have a great selection of craft beer as well. Service was superb! Can't wait to go back :)
This is THE spot. It’s got the hole in the wall feel with amazing food and even better drinks. The owner is there often showing his love for not only his establishment but just his craft of bbq and making great drinks. Pool table available to hang out and they got a wonderful outside patio area. So many TVs so plenty of ways to watch the game or play one! Corbin is consistently coming up with new ways to not only compete with other bbq spots but also to stay ahead of the game by actually being part of the neighborhood the establishment is in and caring for their patrons. I expect even more wonderful and flavorful things to come from this spot.
10 out of 10! Corbin’s Q absolutely ROCKS! The staff and service is amazing - super friendly and truly love what they do! The restaurant is an awesome place to kick back and enjoy your meal - great energy and vibe the whole time we were there. The story is so cool, starting at a the farmers market to now catering and across the country with a permanent location near SDSU! Check out Tap Trucks and their booze is tasty as well! Do yourself a fever and enjoy a plate (or 3!) - highly recommend everything as you can’t miss on their menu!!! Yes I’m a BEAST and I feast when I conquer! If I could give this more stars I would! I can’t express how awesome this place is! Food is great and everyone is super friendly. So friendly I ended up hugging at least 2 people when I left. Great place to hang and eat some BBQ and drink a cocktail/beer.
Craving mac and cheese and happy I came to try this place out, as soon as I walked in I can smell the smoked BBQ. Its a nice place with a bar area plenty of brew options, they have a drink special for everyday of the week you can order and customize to your liking. Ordered a loaded order of mac and cheese with shredded cheese, bacon and pulled pork. The taste was heavenly and the pulled pork was smokey tender, delicious. I would definitely come back happy its close to home
The baby back ribs were fantastic. And the mac and cheese was delicious. The people that own the place are very nice and accommodating. I had their old fashioned and it was out of this world.
